Assessment and examination rules for students
1.1 | Students must be punctual for all assessments/examinations. |
1.2 | Students must not communicate throughout the assessments/examinations. |
1.3 | Students must not bring mobile phones, smartwatches or any other electronic devices into the examination room. |
1.4 | Students must not cheat, attempt to cheat or help others to cheat during all assessments/examinations. |
1.5 | Students who are ill should not be in school for assessments/examinations. |
1.6 | If a student has a temperature of 38oC and above, she will not be allowed to sit for the assessments/examinations and her parents/guardians will be asked to take her home. If a student misses an assessment/examination because of illness, she needs to submit a medical certificate upon her return to school. |
1.7 | In the event of absenteeism (supported by a valid Medical Certificate) for all school assessments/examinations, marks will be pro-rated accordingly. |
1.8 | There will be no make-up assessments for all written and listening comprehension assessments/examinations unless specified by the school. |
1.9 | Candidates from Primary 3 to Primary 6 can only use a 2B pencil to shade the Optical Answer Sheet (OAS) during assessments/examinations. If candidates fail to shade the OAS properly (e.g. double shading, not shading at all, skipping questions in the shading), these questions will not be awarded any marks. |
