Home School Partnership

This image shows a resource titled "Guidelines for School-Home Partnership: Raising a Happy, Confident, and Kind Generation Together", which appears to be a joint effort by the Ministry of Education and COMPASS (based on the small text at the bottom). The material is organised around three key themes: Respectful Communication focuses on fostering trust and collaboration between parents and educators. The guidance includes listening to and understanding each other's perspectives, communicating kindly during difficult conversations, and respecting each other's boundaries. Role Models encourages showing children the skills and values they need for life — such as practising gratitude and kindness in everyday experiences, instilling a sense of play and responsibility, and modelling good values in words and actions at home and at school. Real Connections is about cultivating strong relationships and healthy habits in the digital age. This includes building bonds through shared experiences, establishing good habits around technology use, and providing a balance of online and offline activities at school and at home. The left panel features a colourful illustrated scene of a multi-storey home with families and children engaged in various activities, visually representing the partnership between school and home environments.
